agreed no one has ever OD'ed on marijuana. it? would take about 1lb in the course of 20 minutes to be smoked. They might look all paranoid, but no one has ever taken enough to die from it. This is documented.

There have been zero known cases of marijuana overdose. Alcohol overdose is a very easy? level to reach. (you can die from alcohol poisoning). Even Tylenol it is relatively easy to overdose by comparison. The punishment for "non violent criminal" marijuana users is disproportionate to the crime. A similar number of years as a child rapist or violent criminal?! Police should have better things to do with their time, and our prisons are overflowing

Legal classification of drugs should be based on scientific studies of harm and addiction, not opinion. An addict can no longer make an autonomous? decision. An addict no longer has a choice (ie. cocaine is highly addictive and harmful) We are talking about autonomous decision makers choosing to be intoxicated by marijuana instead of other more harmful and addictive legal drugs (again: marijuana is scientifically rated less harmful and addictive than many legal drugs).

It argues for making marijuana illegal because of other highly addictive, highly harmful drugs. Marijuana is scientifically rated? less harmful and addictive than legal drugs such as alcohol, cigarettes, Tylenol and caffeine. Marijuana intoxication is similar to alcohol intoxication. Criminals (ie. drunk drivers) should be put in jail, not "non violent criminals"

The current "war on drugs" is inefficient impractical and ineffective. The loss is twofold. When a "non violent criminal" who chooses to be intoxicated by marijuana is put in jail, not only do we lose an otherwise working productive member of society, but other tax payers must pay for him to sit in jail. Marijuana is scientifically rated less addictive and physically harmful than alcohol and cigarettes. The punishment is disproportionate, can spend years earning a degree,? never find another job

yea, if LA City Council would have referred to AG Jerry Brown's guidelines they wouldn't be so confused. They are to be set up as agricultural non profit collectives, that doesn't mean they can't have a store front that sells for cash reimursement for time and expenses.
