@KripDrip You are also actually incorrect that the use would "skyrocket" as evidence actually points to the opposite. Marijuana? use has declined quite steadily since it was legalized in Holland in 1976. In fact the use of cannabis is higher in the U.S and the U.K than it is in Holland.

@KripDrip The real reason is you guys to the south. Canada? and America have a very important relationship for both countries, and if we made marijuana legal it would really piss off America and sour our relations...I've always felt that it needs to happen in America first...which it will. Its an education process, thats being exponentially more implemented and obviously having effects with the latest wave of decriminalization. BTW its been decriminlazied federally here for amounts under 30g's

That bitch sounds exactly like my principal... also dealing with the issue of drug cartels defending their turf, look at the alcohol prohibition, drug cartels sold and distributed booze to people and the only way to obtain it was with a doctor's recommendation (yes, its true... medicinal whiskey :) now you don't see any cartels selling booze anymore, also drug cartels make more money on crack and heroin than booze now its completely legal and regulated. Hopefully, Canada will legalize marijuana.?

That woman is just utterly ignorant. If marijuana was legalized, the FDA would obviously regulate it and assure customers of its quality. Therefore, people will buy from licensed marijuana stores instead of black market dealers, in which you have no idea what exactly could be in the weed. Thus, overall, putting the black? market distribution of marijuana out of business. How can she not understand that?
