@MichaelRyanPeck The only reason falling is dangerous is because of gravity, but there is gravity and so falling is dangerous. Smoking pot is dangerous because your smoking pot your burning stuff and breathing it in the manusha is an irrelevant point the behavior has risk. I'm a bit amazed that you can? list everything i have listed come to the same conclusion as me and yet disagree.... its astonishing.

Hemp and marijuana are? two different plants
By: MichaelRyanPeck. on 28 Jan 12, 06:40:11
@Bobbysnobby, learn to fuckin read. No where did I say smoking marijuana was good because in all honesty it isn't. But the fact of the matter is that anything burned is going to create carcinogens, it's nothing in marijuana or THC that creates? carcinogens or cancer. I swear, people need to read before opening their big mouths.

I dosnt matter POT IS GOOD end of story ?
By: bobbysnobby. on 27 Jan 12, 21:41:16
@drpeppa2357 the argument that pot exhibits? anti-tumor properties is a null point those properties only affected some forms of brain tumors not lung tumors.
By: bobbysnobby. on 27 Jan 12, 21:36:27
@MichaelRyanPeck I donno why you think marijuana fallows some magic rules in the universe. Marijuana produces carcinogens when its burned that is a known fact. Carcinogens cause cancer that is also a fact. I really have no axe to? grind I really dont care if people smoke or use drugs, I dont like it when people lie and to say Smoking Marijuana is risk free is a lie. If there is a flaw in that reasoning I would love to hear it.

@Bobbysnobby Dude shut the fuck up! I swear to fucking God, shut the fuck up! How old are you like 5? Think you're going to argue with the adults? You don't know a damn thing about marijuana!? You probably just read one government sponsored article purposely mis-informing you that it "should cause" cancer like every idiot who's against marijuana! Shut the fuck up! Marijuana does NOT CAUSE CANCER! OF ANY KIND! The chemical makeup of Marijuana is different than that of what are in cigarettes, whi

@drpeppa2357 I linked you the study. Smoking doesnt "cause" cancer either it merely increases your odds of getting cancer, now those odds compound meaning the more you smoke the closer you get to a 100% likely hood although it will never reach it. Your just wrong and need to understand the differences between truth and? opinion it is known that it increases your odds of cancer the debate is How much, not "if".

@bobbysnobby There is a prevalence of cigarette smokers in this study, are there any individuals who are cannabis only smokers? Or was this taken into consideration? I'm not very familiar with medical research jargon. To reitterate this is the CANNABIS USE AND RISK? OF? LUNG CANCER: A CASE-CONTROL STUDY Eur Respir J. 2008 February; 31(2): 280--286.
By: drpeppa2357. on 26 Dec 11, 07:39:21
@bobbysnobby That is all well and good, but wood smoke is not cannabis smoke, nor is tobbacco smoke of the same nature. The properties? of the cannabis plant have been shown to exhibit anti-tumor properties, effectively cancelling out considerably the dangers of any carcinogens in the chemical makeup of set smoked cannabis. This is a very, very old argument my friend, "It should cause Cancer" is disingenuous, because the truth is a bit more complicated.

@seangill8 From WebMD, "Daily marijuana use for a month or more was not associated with increased risk, nor was age at first use, depth of inhalation, or use of a pipe." Surprisingly, using marijuana was not associated with increased cancer risk, even among those who never used tobacco, he says. -Peggy Peck, reporting on a study conducted by John Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore, May 8, 2000. I am well aware? of the carcinogens. Perhaps you spoke too soon. I know exactly where I am.

By: drpeppa2357. on 26 Dec 11, 07:26:44
@seangill8 I'm afraid that's not the case. You are correct, Marijuana contains carcinogenic chemicals upon ignition of the plant, however, the wording government funded studies implies is "Should? cause" cancer. The effects of the cannibinoid system are not fully understood, thanks to zealous prohibitionists and scattered ignorance, but anti-cancer properties have been shown to be exhibited in the plant, possibly reversing the progression of such cancers.

@bobbysnobby Words are very cheap my friend, do you have a link to the studies citing marijuana caused lung cancer in? humans? From my sources from NORML and out of country scientific databases I have gathered that Marijuana does have carcinogens in its chemical makeup, but government funded studies use cushy terms like "Should" cause cancer, and "Should Suggest", a wordy way of revealing they're withholding information.
