Video duration: 185 seconds Look to the West at Sunset, and the lower brighter one is Venus, and the upper one is Jupiter. In the next 10 days (from 20th Nov 2008) they will close, and Venus will undertake Jupiter. Video duration: 114 seconds Low in the West, just after sunset look for bright 'stars'. The lower one and brighter one is Jupiter who is on the other side of the Sun, while the higher fainter one is Mercury. Mercury is always difficult to see as it never appears far from the Sun. Video duration: 507 seconds Came down an old logging road (very windy) to get to the coast. All that is left of the big trees are the stumps. Spent this morning (9th Aug 2008) (after trying, with little success to eliminate the video lines on Hope), I then went down to the Californian coast (just North of Fort Bragg) to see what there was to see at low tide.
